Advising: IMSE students are required to see their advisers at least once each semester, generally in advance of enrollment for the following semester (usually in October in the fall and March in the spring). An email will be sent to your K-State address to notify you when advising begins.

Computer Labs and Passwords: You will be assigned a K-State eID and password. This will give you access to universitywide systems such as KSIS and K-State online. Separate passwords are required for the Engineering Computer Labs the IMSE Computer Labs. To set up your Engineering Computer Labs password go to Seaton 55. Visit the IMSE department for your IMSE computer lab password.

Lab Fees: Lab fees are collected by Danielle Frakes in 2061 Rathbone Hall.

Lost and Found: In the Engineering Complex, lost and found is in the Engineering Student Services office in Fiedler Learning Commons, 1093 Fiedler Hall. You can also contact the K-State Police Department, the location for the University's Lost and Found.

Missed Assembly: There are no excused absences issued for missing assembly meetings.  Every missed assembly must be made-up. Make-up work must be submitted in writing to the department head during the same semester or be subject to penalties. If you miss an Assembly visit the IMSE office for instructions on how to make it up.

Printing: IMSE undergraduate students can print up to 125 copies per month. The graduate student quota is 200 and PhD students is 300 per month. IMSE IT Services provides print quotes and support for students with printing questions.

Scholars Assisting Scholars (SAS): SAS is a focused, free tutoring program provided by students who are paid attend the lecture, as well as provide tutoring services. By attending the course, they are better able to address student questions in a manner consistent with the way the course is being taught. All tutoring sessions are held in the Carter Learning Center in the Engineering Complex. Visit the SAS website for the tutoring schedule.

Student Services: The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering Student Services office provides assistance with enrollment, graduation, and other policies and procedures.

Student Ombudsperson: Your student ombudperson can listen to your concerns and help you navigate your situation with confidential guidance, resource referrals and more. Look to your ombudperson to assist you with: Develoiping conflict resolution techniques, navigating tough conversations and situations, and understanding university policies, procedures, and resources.
